Today I had a wonderful lunch with colleagues at Silks Chinese restaurant.

For the record, I don’t like Chinese food or Chinese restaurants. The gluey sauces, the MSG, the cooked pineapple, the plastic prawns, the gristle meat and the over powering saltiness. Not to mention, most chinese restaurants have a leaking fish tank with mind numbed fish bumping into each other while crustaceans by the hundreds are trying to get out! Not a great site when sitting down to begin dinner.

I know, I know, a five star restaurant like Silks is going to cost you $$$ BUT why compromise on quality if you are spoiling yourself/partner/client once in a while. The food served is of the freshest quality, cooked to perfection, and served by diligent courteous waiters. The food and beverages were served in a nice and relaxed pace. Just right!

So…if you want to have a wonderful meal, with great service and surrounds, try Silks, Crown Casino Melbourne. You won’t be disappointed.

P.S Save your pennies before your booking. You won’t get much change from $120 per head, including a nice bottle of wine.

  1. I have always wanted to try the best. I guess saving up for a once in a lifetime indulgence is worth it Rob.

Do you have links the the restaurant and menus? That would be a great help. Cheers
